Effects: promotes the typical top-fermented aroma, produces lean and sparkling beers, and enhances the characteristic wheat aroma. EBC 35. Light wheat malt for pale wheat beers. Malt is germinated and dried grain produced through malting, usually barley, but also rye, wheat, or other grains. Malt is made from special grain varieties, known as brewing barleyusually two-row spring barley, but also winter barleyor brewing wheat. The malt must be crushed for beer production. We can crush your malt upon request.
