Apply only a small amount of adhesive to each nail cap, covering the nail only, wait until the adhesive is partially dry, and then place the cap over the nail. Avoid getting adhesive on your hands or your dog's fur. If this happens, remove it with nail polish remover. Wait until the adhesive is completely dry before proceeding to the next nail.
