Product information: 16 cat water fountain filters. The set includes 8 filter cartridges for cat water fountains and 8 round, black sponge filter cartridges. The cartridges use nonwoven fabric, activated carbon, and natural resin for water filtration. The outer cotton layer of each cartridge absorbs dirt. Soak the filter completely in water before use and carefully insert it into the fountain. Regular filter replacement is required to help maintain clean water: every 12 weeks in summer and every 24 weeks in winter. Regular replacement every 6 months is also recommended.
