The jars are suitable for filling with capsules, powders, ointments, and granules. The jars are conditionally suitable for autoclaving at 121C. The jar provides only limited protection from light when used as the sole means of light protection. The jars are not suitable for highly hygroscopic contents or for preparations containing dithranol.
