CO2, or carbon dioxide, is essential for an aquarium. It supports plant growth and oxygen production, which benefits fish. The aquarium's CO2 level can be determined by observing the color change of the test solution placed in the permanent tester. To use the CO2 indicator reagent, tilt the tester to the side and hold the bottle tip horizontally to make filling easier. If the solution collects in the neck, gently swirl the checker until the liquid flows into the chamber. If an air bubble forms in the glass tube, gently tap the outside of the glass to release it. Turn the tester over and attach it 2.55 cm below the aquarium water surface. Color meanings: blue = insufficient CO2, green = sufficient CO2, yellow = excessive CO2. Specifications: borosilicate glass, transparent, 4.5 3 cm. Package includes 2 CO2 aquarium monitors and 2 suction cups.
