Indian almond leaves, also known as Catappa leaves, have proven highly effective in aquarium keeping. They have antiseptic properties and provide a substrate for microorganisms that help create a natural habitat, offering essential basic support for shrimp and fish. The leaves active ingredients may also help protect against bacterial diseases such as fin rot and fungal infections, hole-in-the-head disease in cichlids, external parasites, mucous membrane damage, injuries, and gill worms. The leaves come from the Asian Indian almond tree and are harvested at the optimal time, cleaned, smoothed, and dried. A total leaf length of 20 cm per 80 liters of water per week has proven effective. This helps ensure a continuous supply of the leaves valuable ingredients and provides the decomposition stage required for the well-being of aquarium inhabitants. The pH is slightly lowered without changing the conductivity. Suitable for fish, shrimp, crayfish, crabs, snails, and catfish.
