ASTAXANTHIN capsules with premium AstaGuard astaxanthin from the Haematococcus pluvialis microalga. Each capsule contains 12 mg of astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a natural pigment produced by the microalga to improve its chances of survival under challenging environmental conditions. AstaGuard is a premium branded raw material. The microalgae are cultivated under ideal growth conditions in a closed system, providing a high level of purity. The mature algae are then processed using a gentle extraction method to obtain the astaxanthin. Per capsule: 120 mg of AstaGuard Haematococcus pluvialis extract and 12 mg of bioactive astaxanthin. One capsule is recommended every 2 days, corresponding to a daily intake of 6 mg of astaxanthin. A bottle of 90 capsules provides a 180-day, or 6-month, supply. Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil, astaxanthin-rich oil extract from the alga Haematococcus pluvialis, capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose). Directions: Take 1 capsule every 2 days with a meal and sufficient liquid. Do not take more frequently than once every 2 days.
