Azafran baking soda stands for reliable, even rising in doughs. It dissolves easily, distributes homogeneously, and neutralizes acids, making it versatile as a leavening agent, mild neutralizer, and gentle cleaner. In the kitchen, use it for baking, such as in sponge and shortcrust doughs, pancakes, or quick cakes. A small amount in cooking water helps green vegetables retain their visual freshness. In acidic compotes, a pinch provides a more balanced flavor without masking the food's own taste. For consumption, use according to the recipe when baking. For vegetables, add approximately a pinch per liter of cooking water and cook only briefly. For acidic fruit in compote or pure, stir in a small pinch according to the desired balance and taste carefully. Baking soda can also be used around the home to neutralize odors in refrigerators or textiles, as a mild cleaning aid for surfaces, sinks, or cutting boards, and in simple mixtures for the kitchen and bathroom.
