Our Barbecue Texas Rub is an excellent match for steaks and pork chops, and generally for grilled meat, including beef, pork, and chicken. 23 tsp are enough for 450 g of meat; use 12 tbsp for a 1.8 kg chicken. It is equally suitable for seasoning or marinating fish and shrimp, as well as grilled meat. It is slightly less spicy than our Feuer und Flamme seasoning blend, which can also be used to season food after grilling. Suggested marinade recipe: Mix 4 tsp of the Barbecue Texas Rub seasoning preparation with oil. Place the meat in the marinade and marinate for at least 1 hour. The marinade is sufficient for approximately 1 kg of meat. Thanks to its fine dosing capability, it is also well suited as a table seasoning in a spice mill. As with all spices freshly ground in the kitchen or at the table using a spice mill, the aroma is particularly intense when freshly ground. The spices also retain more of their aroma during longer storage than spices that have already been ground.
