Trim the tips of your pet's nails. Cut only enough for the nail cap to fit all the way to the base of the nail. For kittens, do not trim the claws too short before applying the soft paws; sufficient claw surface is needed for the glue to hold properly. 2. Fill the nail caps one-third full with glue. 3. Place the caps on the nails by applying gentle pressure, with your thumb on top and your index finger underneath the paw. 4. Hold your pet for five minutes afterward. You can play with your pet or give it some of its favorite food for a few minutes to help it adjust. Package contents: 1 pack of nail caps, 20 pieces.
