Apart from a homemade Bolognese sauce from Wrzteufel, few sauces compare. Like its northern Italian namesake from Bologna, it is made with fine herbs and high-quality ingredients and delivers an authentic, delicious taste. Taste the difference between freshly prepared Bolognese sauce and conventional jarred sauces on your pastaand prepare it in just 5 minutes. It can also be used as a pizza sauce. Wrzteufel offers a selection of sauces that are quick to prepare and suitable for casseroles, roasts, pasta, or steaks, served hot, or as a dip for vegetables or chips when cooled. Ingredients: Modified starch, wheat flour, table salt, natural spices (including tomatoes), herbs, maltodextrin, acid: citric acid, seasoning, natural spice extracts and pure spice oils, tomato flavoring. Nutritional information per 100 g of product (powder): Energy 1,077 kJ / 256 kcal; fat 0.2 g; carbohydrates 62.0 g; protein 0.9 g; indigestible fiber 0.9 g. Preparation: For 500 ml of prepared sauce, add approximately 350 ml of water to a tall frying pan or saucepan (500 ml for a fat-free sauce). Dissolve approximately 45 g of sauce powder using an immersion blender and bring briefly to a boil over medium heat. Use the immersion blender to emulsify approximately 150 ml of extra virgin olive oil or another high-quality vegetable oil; omit the oil when preparing a fat-free sauce.
