Bumkins Chewtensils Silicone Spoon and Fork - Marble

Description

• IDEAL FOR STARTING SOLID FOODS: Perfect for first feeding attempts and self-feeding (baby-led weaning). The textured handle helps babies practice hand-eye coordination through play.
• PROTECTION AGAINST INSERTING TOO DEEPLY: An integrated, rounded shield helps prevent babies from putting the spoon or fork too far into their mouths and choking.
• 100% SAFE SILICONE: Made from high-quality, food-grade silicone. Completely free from BPA, PVC, phthalates, and lead. Safe for sensitive gums and emerging teeth.
• ERGONOMIC AND FLEXIBLE: Short, thick handles are ideal for small baby hands. The flexible texture is gentle on the mouth and invites chewing during teething.
• EASY TO CLEAN AND DISHWASHER-SAFE: Extremely durable, hygienic, and dishwasher-safe (top rack). Also boil-safe for quick and easy sterilization.

We developed Chewtensils for stage 1 of baby-led weaningto introduce babies to holding a utensil and eating independently. They are made from soft, textured, food-grade silicone that is easy to grip and gentle on delicate gums, with flexible heads for added safety. The back of the spoon head features sensory bumps that stimulate the gums. They are perfect for dipping into pured foods during the early stages of baby-led weaning. Younger babies can chew on these teething tools before they are ready to transition to metal cutlery. They are safe to use because they are made from 100% food-grade silicone. Chewtensils are intended for babies who are not yet able to feed themselves independentlybest for dipping and scooping, not yet for spearing solid foods.
