Description

• STORY: Founded by Lisa Bunn and Bastian Strebel in 2011, the winery farms 21 hectares in Nierstein, Guntersblum, and Wintersheim. Rieslings and Pinot Noir are made with spontaneous fermentation, extended lees aging, and maturation in wood.
• VINIFICATION: The vines are over 30 years old on average. The ripe grapes are selectively hand-harvested in mid-September, destemmed, and processed after 24 hours of skin maceration. Approximately 80% of the must is spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks, while 20% is fermented in tonneaux. The wine matures on its full lees until March of the following year before being bottled.
