Since 1993, our J. J. Darboven coffee roastery has carried fairly traded coffees in its range and was one of the first to consistently support them on a large scale. Fairly traded coffee comes from smallholder farming families and is imported directly from the producing countries without intermediaries. Through TransFair e. V., a minimum price for the harvests is secured, and coffee farmers receive a fair price.
