The recommended dose for children from 6 to 12 years of age is 5 mg twice daily, as one-half of a Cetirizin HEUMANN 10 mg film-coated tablet. Warnings: Cetirizin HEUMANN 10 mg film-coated tablets (active ingredient: cetirizine dihydrochloride) are indicated for adults and children 6 years of age and older for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the relief of urticaria (hives).
