Clearspring Gluten-Free Couscous is made from 100% organic Italian corn, which gives it a bright yellow color. It has a texture and consistency similar to durum wheat couscous. This mild, flavorful grain is a great alternative to rice and pasta and is delicious with Moroccan tagines, as a filling for roasted peppers, or in a summer salad with herbs and capers. It is made from organic, non-GMO Italian corn; traditional couscous is made from durum wheat semolina. Product code: CS837. Ingredients: organic corn. Dietary information: gluten-free, yeast-free, kosher, and without added alcohol. To prepare one serving, pour 100 ml of freshly boiled water over 65 g of couscous in a bowl. Cover and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and season to taste. This box contains 3 servings. It can also be cooked like durum wheat couscous and has a very similar texture and consistency. For extra flavor, cook with stock instead of boiling water.
