Founded in 1890 and owned by the Cinzano family since 1973, the estate now covers 140 hectares, including 108 hectares for Brunello di Montalcino. Under Count Francesco Marone Cinzano, Col d'Orcia became Tuscany's largest organic winery. Its winesincluding the famous Brunello Riserva Poggio al Ventotraditionally mature in large oak barrels and are among the region's most highly rated international classics.
