Cooper Vision Proclear Toric (6 lenses) is a new product from Cooper Vision. Even with astigmatism, you do not have to give up wearing a thin, soft contact lens. The lenses have a water content of 62%, are made of omafilcon B, and have an oxygen permeability of Dk 27. Available base curves are BC 8.4 mm and BC 8.8 mm. The 8.4 mm base curve is made to order, so delivery may take up to 4 weeks in exceptional cases. Available cylinder powers are -0.75, -1.25, -1.75, and -2.25. The lens axis is available from 10 to 180 in 10 increments. The lens diameter is 14.4 mm. The lenses should be replaced monthly. Despite astigmatism, these lenses can be worn comfortably. They are also described as suitable for dry eyes.
