CooperVision Proclear Toric (6 lenses) is a new toric contact lens for people with astigmatism who do not want to give up wearing a thin, soft contact lens. It has a water content of 62%, is made of Omafilcon B, and has an oxygen permeability of Dk 27. Available base curves are BC 8.4 mm and BC 8.8 mm. The BC 8.4 mm version is custom-made, so delivery may take up to 4 weeks in exceptional cases. Available cylinder powers are -0.75, -1.25, -1.75, and -2.25. The lens axis is available from 10 to 180 in 10 increments. The lens diameter is 14.4 mm. The lens should be replaced monthly. Despite astigmatism, this lens can be worn comfortably. It is also described as a top lens for dry eyes.
