For 20 years, it has used a patented and certified production process based on recycling post-consumer polyethylene (PE), allowing high-quality raw materials to be obtained for bag production. All Domopak Scopy bags are made with recycled polyethylene (PE) in varying amounts from 100% to 60%. The plastic we use and recycle over the course of a year to make the bags covers an area equivalent to twice the surface area of Florence, 30,000 times the surface area of a Serie A soccer field, or 65,000 times the surface area of the Colosseum. How much CO2 equivalent do we save? Carbon dioxide is a harmful gas that contributes to global warming, but through our recycling process, in one year we save an amount of CO2 equivalent to the emissions from 82,000 train journeys between Milan and Naples. All Domopak Scopy products comply with UNI EN 13592, which specifies the general characteristics, test methods, and requirements for plastic bags used for waste collection.
