The dragon's blood tree belongs to the spurge family and can grow up to 20 meters tall. It has a sturdy trunk and a dense, relatively flat canopy formed by numerous branches and closely spaced crowns of leaves. Sangre de Grado is obtained by making a V-shaped incision in the tree, similar to the process used with rubber trees. The sap flows through a small channel into a collection container. Bottling must be done quickly because the resin dries rapidly when exposed to air, a property that helps the tree seal wounds quickly. Ingredients: Pure tree resin, Sangre de Drago.
