• Compatible with all electric dog fence system models

Educator uses only high-quality 18 AWG solid bare copper conductors that are sun-resistant and rated for direct burial as underground perimeter wire. Our deluxe wire is made in the USA with 1.14 cm-thick polyethylene insulation (HMWPE). This provides additional strength, protection, and superior performance compared with competitor wire. The HMWPE insulation is formulated to provide excellent oxidative stability, toughness, and abrasion resistance, along with superior resistance to environmental and thermal stress. Beware of inexpensive imitations. Many competing brands use inferior copper-clad aluminum wire. Copper is much heavier than copper-clad aluminum, which looks like copper but is not. Our high-quality pure copper wire is heavy, with a finished weight of approximately 4.6 kg per 3.4 m. This is always a reliable way to know that you are getting genuine copper.
