There must be clearance beneath the bed or sofa, with a height greater than 5.3 in (13.5 cm). The bed height should be 1636 in so the chair can be positioned close to the lying surface. This wheeled commode chair is not suitable for people who are completely paralyzed or unable to maintain an upright seated position. It cannot cross obstacles and should be used on flat terrain.
