The formula of Fine Accoutrements' 21st Century Shaving Soap consists of carefully balanced premium fats designed to provide positive effects during and after shaving. Mango butter: Helps reduce inflammation and redness. It contains lauric acid, palmitic acid, polyphenols and phytosterols. This combination of active ingredients has an anti-inflammatory, soothing and emollient effect on skin affected by shaving. Beef tallow: Forms a protective layer on the skin. This ingredient helps protect the skin from the razor blade and promotes smooth glide without sticking. Argan oil: Soothes, hydrates and regenerates. One of the world's most valuable oils, argan oil provides a repairing and regenerating effect in shaving products. Its triglycerides and soothing properties help rebuild the skin's lipid barrier after exposure to the razor blade. Jojoba oil: Emollient and elasticity-enhancing. Along with argan oil, jojoba oil provides an important softening and elasticizing effect during shaving. Castor oil: Adds body and structure to the formula. Its high density combines with the formula and supports the function of the beef tallow, giving the shaving soap structure both when lathering and when applying it with a brush.
