Product description A Series air pumps are designed to significantly improve water circulation and the essential oxygen content of the water for fish, plants, corals, and beneficial bacteria. Hobbyists will appreciate the powerful air delivery, which can be controlled separately via the regulators on each outlet and is produced with ultra-quiet, energy-efficient operation. Instructions for use MOUNTING TIPS The pump should be placed in a dry location that is as dust-free as possible. Do not place the air pump on carpet, as carpet fibers can clog the pump's air intake and obstruct airflow into the pump. This reduces air output, causes overheating, and shortens the pump's service life. INSTALLATION Important: When installing an air pump for an aquarium, it is recommended to always use a check valve (sold separately) in the air hose between the air pump and the aquarium. The check valve prevents water from flowing through the air hose into the pump in the event of a power failure or when removing the filter or other air-operated accessories. To prevent damage from accidentally spilled water, do not place the air pump directly below the aquarium. The air pump can be installed in three different ways: - Position the air pump on a surface below the water level in the aquarium. - Position the air pump on a surface above the water level. This surface should be at least 30 cm above the water level, but not directly above the aquarium. The surface should have a raised edge to prevent the air pump from sliding off. - Wall mounting: The air pump can be hung vertically on a wall using a nail or screw through the designated hole. After mounting the pump, follow these instructions: 1. Attach one end of the air hose (item no. A1141, sold separately) to the air outlet or outlets on the air pump. 2. Attach the other end of the air hose to a filter, air stone, ornament, or similar air-operated aquarium accessory. Make sure the air hose is not kinked and that airflow is not interrupted. 3. Connect the air pump to the power supply. Make sure the cable forms a drip loop.
