- Tecar therapy diathermy operating principle: Generates high-frequency alternating current. The Tecar ionic flow is caused by rapid electrical oscillations in the cellular environment, a phenomenon related to the dielectric constant of the cell membrane.
- Two treatment modes: Continuous and pulsed treatment. Each technology offers distinct benefits and functions, allowing users to control treatment with just a few simple settings.
- Resistive method: Suitable for tissues with high resistance, including bones, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and connective tissue. Correctly positioned electrodes can focus the therapeutic effects on a specific body area.
- Capacitive method: Uses plates and insulated electrodes to treat tissues with lower electrical resistance, including skin, connective tissue, the circulatory system, and the lymphatic system. Insulated active electrodes primarily create charge movement in the underlying tissue, where the therapeutic effect is concentrated.
- Applications: Tecar therapy stimulates the body's biological inflammatory response, accelerates the restoration of normal biological functions after mechanical, viral, or other stress, promotes cell regeneration, improves circulation, reduces inflammation, relieves pain, and activates fibroblast activity.
