The G&G E-KY series is a modern table scale with a large 30 x 22 cm weighing platform. All models use the same housing and differ in the installed load cell, with various readability levels and capacities available according to the selection and data sheet. The scale has a 12 V power adapter and an internal 6 V / 4.5 Ah AGM battery. When the battery is fully charged, the scale switches to maintenance charging during mains operation to help protect the battery, allowing long-term mains use without overcharging. Additional languages are available as PDF instructions. Battery life depends mainly on the number of deep discharges and how long the battery remains deeply discharged. For longer battery life, avoid using the scale until it switches off due to insufficient voltage and avoid storing it with an empty battery. Charge the battery before storage and recharge it after no later than six months during storage to help prevent damage from normal self-discharge, which is approximately 2% per month. Deeply discharged AGM batteries can develop sulfation deposits through chemical processes, reducing the areas available for storing energy.
