The double-layer combination design can be used as a breeding box for egg-laying fish such as bettas and guppies. Newborn fry can be kept in the isolation compartments to help prevent attacks from adult fish and improve the survival of small fish. The box can also isolate aggressive or injured fish and be connected to an air pump to increase the water's oxygen level.
