JP Korsteel French Link Loose-Ring Snaffle Bit, 4 1/2 in, Silver

Description

• Reduces discomfort and provides comfort.
• Reduces the nutcracker effect and tongue pinching.
• Reduces direct pressure on the tongue.
• Helps the bit make contact with the palate.
• For horses with a fairly large tongue or small mouth; curved mouthpiece, not too thick.

The JP Korsteel loose-ring French link snaffle has a slightly curved mouthpiece to allow the bit to sit more comfortably in the horse's mouth. The JP French link is often favored by horses because the lack of palate pressure makes the bit more comfortable and relieves pressure on the horse's bars. Loose rings give the bit more feel and are suitable for optimum communication with the horse. Features: curved mouthpiece with a French link that lies across the horse's tongue and bars, eliminating the nutcracker action; can be used in dressage competitions. Bit strength: quite mild.
