Powerful espressointense and full-bodied: This Demeter espresso owes its character to a powerful blend of Arabica and Robusta beans. Kaapi is what South Indian farmers call the coffee they grow for us in the tropical mountain region of Kerala. Using gentle Demeter farming methods, they help preserve the diversity and beauty of this landscape. Spreading shade trees shelter the coffee plants, whose fruits are allowed to ripen slowly. Only beans from ripe coffee cherrieshand-picked and carefully sortedmake their way into our espresso. From sourcing the raw materials and designing climate-conscious production processes to treating our employees responsibly, we shape our supply chains for the benefit of nature and people.
