A top-quality Assam tea. Encouraged by exceptionally good production results at the Manjushree tea plantation, its owners decided in 1973 to establish another tea garden: the Mangalam Tea Estate. Thanks to the carefully planned, dense planting of selected Assamica hybrids, the estate produces valuable orthodox and CTC qualities. This lovingly processed, large-leaf tea contains many golden tips. It has a delicate malty, spicy and well-rounded flavor with a dark amber-colored cup, making it a highlight of any Assam tea selection. Proper preparation is also important: use 45 heaped teaspoons per liter and steep in freshly boiled water at 100C for approximately 35 minutes.
