Because the multifunctional backing film and wound dressing are completely transparent, and the dressing consists of separate hydropolymer gel islands, the wound can be inspected at any time without changing the dressing. The hydropolymer gel islands help maintain an optimal moisture balance for the skin by absorbing and securely containing wound exudate. The multifunctional backing film provides reliable protection against germs and water while allowing high water vapor permeability. The dressing is highly flexible in both lengthwise and crosswise directions, allowing it to adapt ideally to body contours and movement. The extra-wide adhesive border ensures a secure hold.
