Macadamia oil is a regenerating oil rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. It contains palmitoleic acid, as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It is considered very safe for use in facial and baby products. This oil is ideal for mature and dry skin because its slow absorption helps maintain the skin's moisture. Color: clear, pale-yellow liquid. Aromatic description: very little scent, making it frequently used in carrier oil blends. It provides excellent glide for body massage and is often used in products that protect the skin from weather and wind, such as hand creams. It is also frequently used in anti-wrinkle products, including oil blends, creams, ointments, balms, and lotions. Not recommended for oily, acne-prone, or highly porous skin, as it may clog pores. Consistency: mobile liquid, slower and thicker than typical carrier oils. Absorption: absorbed very slowly into the skin. Shelf life: users can expect a shelf life of 18 months under appropriate storage conditions, in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration after opening is recommended. Precautions: Avoid use by people with nut allergies. Do not consume. For external use only. Keep away from children and eyes.
