Sun-dried, handmade, 100% natural loofah for gentle scrubbing and exfoliation of the body and feet. Loofah is made by drying the vegetable loofah, or sponge gourd. The outer skin is removed, and the inner spongy material is stretched and layered into the desired shape. Usage: After applying soap to the body, wet the natural loofah and gently rub the skin in circular motions. This gentle scrubbing action cleanses and exfoliates the skin. After showering, rinse the loofah thoroughly with water and hang it to dry. It can be used daily. Replace after 4 to 5 weeks of use. Do not use with bath ubtans. Use only with soap. Bath ubtans are self-cleaning and exfoliating. Benefits: Sun-dried natural loofah makes an excellent shower scrubber. It is gentle on the skin, improves lather, exfoliates dead skin cells, and helps prevent ingrown hairs. Unlike regular loofahs, it does not leave plastic residue on the skin. It is gentle yet effective, unlike fabric scrubbers that are not fibrous enough to exfoliate. Storage: Store in a dry place when not in use. After use, clean thoroughly with water and hang to dry. If left wet for an extended period, the loofah may develop microbial growth. Natural variation: Loofah is made from dried vegetable loofah, or sponge gourd, so each piece may have different shades of brown. You may also find one or two black seeds inside.
