The inhaler is made of non-toxic material and features a locking system to prevent accidental opening. It is easy and practical to use, with two handles to facilitate handling and help prevent liquid from tipping over. Medical substances are administered by dissolving or vaporizing them; they enter the airways through the nose and mouth and are taken up by the patient. The device consists of an upper part (2) screwed onto a lower part (1), which is filled with water heated to 95 C. The water dissolves the medical substances and generates steam, which is inhaled through the mouthpiece (4). Pour up to 0.5 L of water slowly into the lower container (1), at a maximum temperature of 95 C. Use extreme caution to avoid spilling or splashing boiling water and the resulting risk of scalding. Hold the device only by the handles (3) and do not shake it to prevent hot water from leaking. If desired, add a balsam tablet or a medical substance prescribed by a doctor.
