The story in brief: In 2013, friends Michael and Troels began developing an urban garden that operated according to organic principles. With dedication, they cultivated chili peppers and preserved them for consumption outside the season. They were frustrated by dried-out herbs, as herbs were often wasted because they wilted quickly. In addition, the flavor outside the season left much to be desired. This led to the question: Why shouldn't herbs be preserved in a similar way to chili peppers? The original intention was not to produce liquid herbs, but to establish an urban organic garden. However, sometimes things take a different course. Like anyone who has bought fresh herbs in pots from a supermarket, you may have faced significant waste when purchasing herbs for cooking. Often, not everything was used, and the leftovers remained on the windowsill. A great deal of peat was also used, and outside the main season it was difficult to find herbs of sufficiently high quality. Therefore, they set out to find a solution, and the answer was liquid herbs. Northern Greens' organic liquid herbs offer the fresh flavor of fresh herbs and the same long shelf life as dried herbs, but in fresh form.
