The Dynamics wrist lacing orthosis with thumb stabilization can be used to immobilize the wrist and thumb carpometacarpal joint. The joints are positioned in a relieving neutral position. A three-dimensionally molded inner pad provides comfortable wear. The practical lacing system also makes the orthosis easier to put on and ensures even pressure distribution. Indications: Severe sprains (distortions) of the wrist and thumb; immobilization of the wrist after surgery; degenerative conditions affecting the wrist and thumb; severe tendovaginitis; irritation of the wrist; carpal tunnel syndrome (nerve damage in the hand area); ligament injuries (ligament lesions). Contraindications: Skin conditions or injuries in the area of application, especially signs of inflammation such as redness, warmth, or swelling; sensory or circulatory disorders in the area of application; impaired lymphatic drainage or unexplained swelling. Care: Washable up to 30C with mild detergent; hand washing is recommended; do not use fabric softener. Do not tumble dry. Do not use chemical cleaning agents or bleach.
