• STORY: Founded in 1898 by Joan and Daniel Padr; now managed by the fifth generation. After focusing on viticulture, the historic vermouth is making a comeback with modern recipes, high-quality herbs, and their own winesfeaturing an individual Catalan style.
• PRODUCTION: Herbs are macerated for at least 2 months in 50% alcohol. The herbal extract is blended with a base wine made from Macabeo and Xarel-lo. Mistela provides mild sweetness. The vermouth matures in 50-year-old hazelnut barrels, giving it its characteristic color and balance.
