Description
- Multi-analyte components provide rapid chromatic analytical data for UV/UVC testing.
- Photochromic dosimeter strip uses an analyte sensitive to broadband UV from 200400 nm, including UVA, UVB, and UVC.
- Dosimeter color concentration is directly proportional to UV intensity; higher intensity produces a darker color.
- At the maximum value, dosimeter color concentration is directly proportional to UVA, UVB, and UVC wavelength; shorter wavelengths produce a lighter color.
- UVC photoluminescence detection technology displays temporary fluorescence between 250270 nm when directly exposed to optimal germicidal UVC light wavelengths.
The QuantaDose Multi-Strip UVC Test Card with dual-wavelength detection measures UV intensity using a specialized analyte for broadband photochromic UV dosimetry, combined with a narrowband short-wave phosphor indicator for testing optimal germicidal UVC wavelengths. QuantaDose UVC test cards provide a basic, reliable, cost-effective, simple, at-home, pocket-sized method for monitoring UV intensity and confirming that optimal germicidal UVC light wavelengths are being used in the disinfection process, without spending hundreds of dollars on fragile UV and UVC light meters. QuantaDose provides real-time results for rapid verification, helping avoid the growing number of counterfeit and defective germicidal UVC light products on the market today. QuantaDose has developed a specially formulated ink chemistry that responds only to optimal germicidal UVC and does not fluoresce under visible light, UVA, or UVB. This ensures that only germicidal wavelengths between 250270 nm are displayed in bright green. Top light sensorUV exposure wavelength test: When the QuantaDose test card is exposed to optimal germicidal UVC, it undergoes an immediate color change to green, with fluorescence directly related to the energy values received. Fluorescence stops when excited electrons release all photons within nanoseconds after exposure. Bottom light sensorUV exposure intensity test: When exposed to UVA, UVB, and UVC wavelengths, the QuantaDose test card changes from clear to light violet within seconds. The word ULTRAVIOLET appears at approximately 300 W/cm UVC, and dark violet appears at 3,000 W/cm UVC, directly corresponding to the energy value. The temporary photochromic dosimeter color is used to check intensity after exposure and should be checked immediately after exposure for the most accurate intensity results. The test is completed in 15 seconds; remove the card from the source. Instructions for use: 1. Expose the test card to UVC light or ultraviolet radiation. 2. Observe the color change on the card to determine the UV intensity and detect UVC wavelengths. 3. Interpret the results based on the color changes and UVC wavelength detection.
