Rocca Rubia Carignano del Sulcis DOC is made from Carignano grapes grown in Santadi, in southern Sulcis. This wine has a dark red color tending toward garnet and an intense, persistent bouquet of cherries, licorice, and leather. It offers a well-balanced flavor with pronounced tannins and a captivating finish. Serve at 18C in a large wine glass. It pairs well with red meat, wild boar, Sardinian porceddu, and aged Pecorino cheese. Store the bottle horizontally in a dark, cool place at 17C. Contains sulfites.
