Highly concentrated biotin with high bioavailability for horses hooves, skin, and coat. SanoVet BIOTIN PLUS contains high-dose biotin of the highest quality. Enriched with highly bioavailable organically bound zinc and copper in an ideal ratio, SanoVet Biotin Plus can optimally support hooves, skin, and coat. Biotin accelerates natural hoof growth. It is a water-soluble vitamin and therefore cannot be stored in the body as long as fat-soluble vitamins. Continuous supplementation with biotin is therefore important. Possible deficiency symptoms may include dry skin and brittle hair or horn. Zinc helps form new hair, skin, and horn cells. It promotes the formation of keratin, which makes up the coat and horn. Zinc also helps all mucous membranes, including those of the lungs, intestines, and uterus, regenerate healthily. It also supports immune defense. In addition, zinc contributes to improved wound healing and may provide relief for summer eczema and reduce itching. Possible signs of zinc deficiency include: Skin and hair problems; dull coat; tail rubbing; summer eczema; itching; impaired hoof growth; thrush; weakened immune system; mud fever. Ingredients: Dextrose, whey powder. Nutritional additives per kg: Biotin (3a880) 3,000,000 mcg; zinc (glycine zinc chelate hydrate, 3b607) 12,000 mg; copper (copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate, 3b405) 5,000 mg; DL-methionine (3c301) 75,000 mg.
