SCI is an anionic surfactant made from natural coconut oil. It is slightly soluble in water and is highly suitable for liquid soaps, shampoo bars, and facial cleansers. It provides high foaming performance even in very hard water and is also extremely mild. It leaves the skin feeling soft and silky, which is why it is also known as baby foam. Recommended use concentrations: as a primary surfactant, 1060%; as a co-surfactant, 120%. Active surfactant content: approx. 80%. pH of a 10% aqueous solution: 4.56. INCI: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate.
