As with the detergent, this water softener contains only necessary and acceptable ingredients. It is free from fillers, phosphates, and other petroleum-derived water-softening substances such as phosphonates, NTA (nitrilotriacetate), and EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid). Component 2 of the Sonett modular system. Binds lime dissolved in the water so that the detergent can develop its full cleaning power.
