The company was founded in 1996 on the initiative of owner Roberto Marchesi to market extra virgin olive oil made from the Marchesi family's olive groves. The land where the olive trees are cultivated is located in the municipality of Montelibretti, in the heart of Sabina in the province of Rome. Among the various plots, the centuries-old olive grove called Uliveto dell'antico Casale Falconieri is of particular interest. It consists of approximately 600 five-hundred-year-old trees of an ancient Lazio variety called Oliva d'Olevano, which appears to be an original variant of Rosciola. From these olives, we produce an exceptionally light and highly aromatic oil that represents true excellence. We also offer three traditional Sabina monovarietals: La Carboncella, La Rosciola, and Leccino. These are intended for those who wish to discover and appreciate the uniqueness, identity, and characteristics of the three pure varieties. Distributor/manufacturer: Azienda Agricola Marchesi, Via Roma 273/A1, 00010 Montelibretti (RM), Italy. Ingredients: 98.5% extra virgin olive oil, 1% flavorings, 0.5% chopped truffle tubers. Serving suggestion: Ideal for preparing meat, fish, soups, and risotto.
