Product information for oregano from the Mount Olympus region: Oregano from the Mount Olympus mountains is generally considered among the highest-quality oregano worldwide. Oregano cultivation begins in the valley and extends to the foot of Mount Olympus, at a maximum cultivation altitude of 600800 m. Commercial cultivation does not take place at higher elevations because the terrain does not provide sufficient space for large-scale cultivation. Above 1,000 m, the plants grow wild, and collecting them is strictly prohibited because the entire Mount Olympus region, both on the Thessalian and eastern sides, is a nature reserve. Ingredients: 100% essential oregano oil (Origanum vulgare hirtum). Directions: This is not a medication or medicinal product. Dilute the 100% essential oil with water, olive oil, milk, honey, or juice at a ratio of 1:20 to 1:50 before use. For external application, dilute the oregano oil with olive oil. Direct, undiluted application to the skin may cause damage. Warnings: Do not ingest undiluted. Do not allow undiluted oil to come into contact with the skin, as it may cause severe skin irritation. Read the directions for use. Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of children. Use consciously and not in large quantities. Misuse or ingestion of large quantities may impair iron absorption in the liver. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water immediately and consult a doctor.
