This compact 500 mL hot water bottle has a soft fleece/plush cover that helps distribute warmth and provides a barrier against direct skin contact. It can be used for warmth, bed warming, or as a cold compress. The product is intended for the hands, neck, and abdomen and is described for use with menstrual discomfort, colic, fever, and swollen wounds. For cold-compress use, the water or ice temperature should not be below -20 C. The bottle measures 21.5 13.5 cm (8.46 5.3 in) and weighs approximately 130 g net and 137 g gross. Before use, check for signs of damage. Do not add boiling water; water between 45 and 80 C (113 and 176 F) is recommended. Place a cloth cover over the bottle before filling. Do not keep it against the body for extended periods without covering the body, to help avoid burns. Never use the bottle as a pillow, sit on it, or apply direct pressure. Keep it away from small children. When not in use, dry it completely, ventilate it adequately, and store it in a ventilated place away from sunlight.
