The TSM vet-Reha narcolepsy bandage for the front leg was specially developed to help protect horses from injuries associated with narcolepsy. Its primary purpose is to protect the carpal joint and fetlock, which are particularly vulnerable during falls while sleeping. The bandage covers the front leg from the carpal joint to the fetlock. The carpal joint is protected by 10 mm neoprene padding, while the fetlock is protected by 5 mm neoprene padding. Both pads provide progressive cushioning with high restoring force to effectively absorb impact loads. The narcolepsy bandage consists of two coordinated elements: a padded bandage for the carpal joint and an additional bandage for the fetlock. This modular system enables a precise fit and secure hold. Thanks to the elastic materials and well-designed hook-and-loop system, the horse's freedom of movement remains largely unrestricted.
