Product description vasoLoges S Homocysteine is a food supplement containing vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid. Together, these contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism. Homocysteine is produced during protein metabolism and, at excessively high concentrations in the blood, can damage the inner walls of blood vessels. Vitamin B6 also supports the normal formation of red blood cells. It is a water-soluble vitamin found in small amounts in foods of animal and plant origin. However, heat and daylight, especially sunlight, can impair its effectiveness. Vitamin B12 plays a role in cell division and also contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells. It is an essential vitamin that the human body cannot produce itself and must therefore obtain from food. Vitamin B12 is found only in animal products such as eggs and meat.
