Product description The Wachau, a romantic valley along the Danube between Melk and Krems, is located approximately 80 km west of Vienna and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for culture and nature since 2000. Thanks to its unique climate and distinctive soil conditions, the Wachau is famous for growing grapes and fruit. In addition to its characteristic stone terraces, apricot orchards are a defining feature of the picturesque landscape. All products from the Wachau are handcrafted according to traditional methods. Markus Wiesers passion for high-quality whisky led to the creation of the Single Malt WIESky range. WIESky Pinot Noir is matured in oak barrels that previously held Austrian Pinot Noir wine, giving it its unique aromas and a complex, balanced texture.
